What has happened to men in our society, around the abortion issue, has been grossly overlooked. Often times men have been unfairly stereotyped, and shut out of this issue. This child in question, is just as much his, as it is hers.
What we have found at SaveOne, is that whether your past abortion experience happened because you forced it, paid for it, or begged her not to have it, the pain years later is the same.
Each abortion is a loss of fatherhood that is hard to recover.

It will help you pinpoint the debilitating issues of forgiveness, anger, and wrong thoughts.

Jack Harper is the Vice President, and Men’s Director for SaveOne. He has fought in this battle for the unborn since the inception of SaveOne in 2000. Jack has supported SaveOne as a board member, a liaison to the global church, a travel partner, and through financial support. In 2018 God very clearly spoke to Jack and Sheila about coming together and Jack joining in full time ministry on the staff of Saveone.
Jack’s life has not always been about ministry. For Jack, drinking as a young teen led to alcoholism as a young adult. What started as an adolescent indiscretion became 23 years of alcoholism. Then, in September of 1998 Jack was miraculously delivered from alcohol as he gave his life to Christ. From that day forward Jack has looked for every opportunity to invest in the restoration of those hurting from the pain and destruction of addiction, alcohol, and abortion.
In 2003 Jack was called to full time ministry, and in 2007 became a church planter. He pastored Crossroads Church for 11 years before God called him to full time ministry at SaveOne. Jack is the author of the book Gifts from God a book centered on the revelation of how God blesses not only us but other people through our obedience. He is currently working on other writing projects. Jack is a board certified Mental Health Coach, and a member of the AACC.
Jack and Sheila agree, we will fight with every fiber of our being to see this door of death closed in men, women, and families lives in our nation and around our world.

Terry Hunt has more than 35 years experience as a successful business executive and recently retired as the US President for a multinational New York Stock Exchange company. He is currently the President of Christian Executive Coaching, a “no fee” business coaching Christian executives on how the succeed in business without compromising their Christian ethics. Terry is active at First Christian Church in Santa Maria, CA where he is a key member of the Welcome Ministry.
Terry’s abortion experience occurred over 25 years ago when his now ex-wife decided she was too old to have another child and aborted his child. The guilt of not fighting harder to save a life, the guilt of being a casual bystander to this abortion and the guilt of remaining silent but in pain had begun to impact all phases of his life. Four years ago, through Lifeline Pregnancy Center, he was introduced to SaveOne and successfully completed the ten week program. He finally was able to move past the guilt and shame. Today he works as a Post-Abortion Advocate for Lifeline in Grover Beach, CA and welcomes to opportunity to guide other men through the SaveOne course.

“I dont love you enough to have your children.” That was the only explanation I received from my girlfriend, who would have been the mother of my child. In a ten minute conversation on the phone, I heard from the woman, I thought I was going to marry, that I had been a father for two or three months. I had no idea that she was pregnant. For several months, I was depressed. I did not want to attend my university classes, I didnt eat, and I started a four year addiction to pornography. I didnt stop going to church and believing in God during this time. I felt like a hypocrite, and that made the feelings that much worse. During those years of pain, guilt, and shame, it never occurred to me that maybe it was because I needed an inner healing. I thought I was over it.
When I was twenty-six years old, six years after this mistake, I heard about SaveOne. They made an announcement for the start of the new class and it was open for men who had this in their past. Immediately I knew I should go. I thought I was healed and had moved on only to find out there was still hurt and grief for the child who was taken from me.
I was the only man in the class; the first for SaveOne. I was newly married and my wife took a brave step and attended the class with me. She was determined to protect me from the other women if necessary. Kristy has never had an abortion, but it turned out that this class was as much for her as it was for me. I discovered healing; she discovered wrong thinking that needed correction. So often, women who have made the choice of abortion are looked down upon. This is just as wrong as the act itself.
In 2004, a new job took us to Slovenia, in south eastern Europe. God quickly showed us the need for SaveOne there and he brought the right people in our path to translate the material. We had several successful classes. While living in Europe we met Sonja Horswell who has a pro life ministry in Vienna, Austria. We partnered together to translate the material into German language and SaveOne Europe was born. We strongly believe that SaveOne is one of the tools our almighty Father is going to use to restore the beauty of womanhood around the world. Wherever God leads us, we will spread our testimony.

Jeff Mauldin, lives in Melbourne, Florida with my wife of 28 years Donna. I have been involved in
various types of ministry since 1995. As youth leader, youth Pastor, Men’s ministry leader and
Fellowship of Christian Athletes representative. I have also had the great pleasure of leading men
through Save One. After participating in the decision to pay for an abortion some thirty plus years ago. I
understand the hidden heart ache and effects that decision has on a man’s life. I have also had the
opportunity to lead Finding You. Helping men overcome traumatic sexual abuse.
I love the opportunity to see men young and old find the grace of our Heavenly Father and experience
His forgiveness and love. Watching Holy Spirit take that which has been hidden and destructive then
expose it to the Light of the World, setting captives free.

The early chapters of David’s life are characterized by a confusing childhood followed by years as a young adult filled with alcohol, partying, sexual immorality, unwanted pregnancies, abortion, marriage, adultery, and divorce. At the age of 26, David met Jesus and his life began being transformed daily by God’s amazing grace. Shortly after this in 1999, David left a promising career to enter into full-time ministry to inner-city teens at the City Mission in Cleveland Ohio.
Over the past nearly 25 years, David has served in various ministry roles at local churches and para-church ministries including the following: Youth Ministry Leader (Rome Baptist Church);Youth Preacher/Missions Administrator (New Community Bible Fellowship); Campus Ministry Staff/Traveling Speaker (Cru); NFL Chaplain (Athletes in Action); Senior Pastor (CrossWay Community Church); Pro-Life Advocate (Cornerstone Pregnancy Center now Thrive Orlando); and Men’s Ministry Leader (SaveOne).
Currently, David mentors younger ministry leaders and helps men to walk in the forgiveness, healing, and freedom of Christ from abortion and sexual immorality. He is represented by Ambassador Speakers and is a highly sought out speaker by Pregnancy Centers and Right to Life groups throughout the U.S. David also speaks at events, retreats, and conferences for men, college students, and youth. David is often invited to speak on the topic of the Gospel and Race by various ministries and local churches.
He is a monthly guest contributor on a Moody Radio affiliate and is a frequent guest on other radio stations and podcasts. He has written many articles and contributed chapters in two books: 'Tears of A Fisherman: Recovery of Men Wounded by Abortion' (authored by Kevin Burke) and Ein Neubeginn (New Beginning) - Real Stories of Healing After Abortion (SaveOne Europe). David's story has been featured by Focus on the Family (SeeLife Live ‘21), Chris Fabry Live (Moody Radio), and CTN (Christian Television Network).
David received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Pittsburgh. David and his wife Terea (his grace gift) have been married 22 years and have been blessed with 6 children. They live in Orlando, Florida with most of their children. David also has an adult son who lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.n
